During the talks, Field Marshal Asim Munir outlined Pakistan’s perspective on regional stability and international peace, emphasizing that closer global cooperation and coordinated efforts are essential to counter emerging and transnational security threats. He stressed that collective action remains key to ensuring lasting peace in an increasingly complex security environment.
Foreign Minister Anita Anand praised Pakistan’s continued commitment to combating terrorism, acknowledging the country’s sacrifices and its contribution to regional peace and stability. Her remarks reflected Canada’s recognition of Pakistan’s role in counterterrorism efforts at a time when international security cooperation has become increasingly important.
