Federal Secretary directs to complete reaming work of new Islamabad High Court at earliest

Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, Federal Secretary for Ministry of Housing and Works, visited new Islamabad High Court (IHC), under construction, along with Farhan Aziz Khawaja, Registrar Islamabad High Court, and Zaheer Ahmed Warriach Director General PWD.

The purpose of the visit was to inspect the construction of the new building of IHC which is in its final stages. Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, applauded the efforts and work of Pakistan Public Works Department (PWD) and directed the concerned to complete the remaining work as soon as possible for the project already got delayed due to some unavoidable reasons. He also said that there would be no compromise on delaying the projects, and the officials will be held responsible for such delays.

During the visit, Secretary Housing and Registrar IHC was also briefed about the new IT Block and other main features of the building. The delegation was also appraised about the speedy work process done on the building, and the project will be delivered very soon. The Registrar IHC also showed satisfaction over the work done so far and emphasized to ensure the completion of remaining work done within the stipulated time.
