The district police claimed to have arrested at least eight kite sellers and confiscated more than 1,500 kites and strings from their possession during a crackdown, stated a press release issued by CPO office on Tuesday.
According to the details, Pirwadhai police recovered 215 kites and string rolls from Yusuf,Bani police recovered 250 kites and four string rolls from Zubair Ashraf, New Town police recovered 70 kites and three string rolls from Hamza and 35 kites and 11 strings from Hassan and Racecourse police recovered 500 kites and five string rolls from Misbahuddin and Hamza in separate actions in their respective jurisdictions.
