Earthquake jolts Islamabad, Peshawar and parts of Pakistan

Punjab Fully Alert To Handle Potential Earthquake Aftershocks

ISLAMABAD – A 5.4 magnitude earthquake jolted Islamabad and parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday.

Tremors were felt in Peshawar, Buner, Malakand, Mardan, Chitral, Landi Kotal, Jamrud, Kohat, Hangu, Swat, Mansehra and other areas.

The seismic activity took place at the depth of 215 kilometers in Hindukash region.

No injuries or damages have been reported so far.
