Dry weather to prevail



Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of country during the next 24 hours.
However, rain/wind-thunderstorm is expected at isolated places in districts of Bahawalpur, Rahim Yar Khan and Rajanpur. On Friday, maximum temperature was recorded at 29 degree celsius in the city.
During the past 24 hours, widespread rain occurred in Lahore, Faisalabad, Sialkot Layyah, Gujranwala, Gujrat, Rawalpindi, Dera Ghazi Khan, Mandi Bahauddin, Toba Tek Singh, Narowal, Jhelum, Chakwal, Sargodha, Bahwalpur, Okara, Bhakkar, Hafizabad, Khanewal, Multan and Sahiwal districts. Rainfall (mm): Shorkot 41, Sialkot (City 35, AP 27), Layyah, Karor 29, Kasur 27, Gujranwala 23, Gujrat 18, Lahore (City 16, Ap 14), Murree 16, Joharabad 15, Mandi Bahauddin 12, Toba Tek Singh, Rawalpindi 11, Narowal, Khanpur 10, Jhelum 08, Dera Ghazi Khan, Chakwal 07, Mangla 06, Sargodha 05, Bahwalpur 04, Faisalabad, Okara, Bhakkar 03 and Hafizabad 02.
According to a synoptic situation, westerly wave is presently affecting upper and central parts of the country. On the occasion ,health authority official briefed the meeting that 855 patients were admitted in the allied hospitals of city including private hospitals out of which 555 were having positive results.—APP
