Dry weather expected

Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours.
However, light rain-thunderstorm is expected at few places of Quetta division and FATA while hot weather in Sindh and south Balochistan.
Continental air is prevailing in most parts of the country, an official of met office Muhammad Farooq told APP.
During the last 24 hours, weather remained dry in most parts of the country however, rain-thunderstorm occurred at isolated places in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Rainfall recorded was Gilgit-Baltistan: Astore, Gilgit and Bagrote 01mm.
Lowest minimum temperatures recorded Friday remained were Kalam -03øC, Gupis 01øC, Astore, Dir 02øC, Hunza, Skardu 03øC, Kalat 04øC, Chitral 05øC, Quetta, Gilgit, Murree 07øC, Muzaffarabad 09øC, Islamabad 11øC, Peshawar 13øC, Faisalabad 16øC, Lahore 17øC, Multan 18øC, Hyderabad 20øC and Karachi 22øC.
The Karachi Met Office on Friday forecast partly cloudy weather for Karachi during the next 24 hours.
An official of the Met Office said that the minimum temperature in the metropolis is expected to remain between 21 to 23 degrees Centigrade with 70 to 80 per cent humidity.
Partly cloudy conditions or hot weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the province during the next 24 hours, he added.
According to synoptic situation, continental air is prevailing in most parts of the country.—APP
