Raza Naqvi Attock
A drug peddler was sentenced to nine years’ imprisonment and fine by a court in Pindigheb town of Attock on Friday.
Additional Session judge Qammar Zaman Bhatti- Judge of special court for the Control of Narcotic Substances (CNS) sentenced nine years’ imprisonment to a drugs peddler who was arrested by Police during a raid on his narcotics in the limits of Pindigheb Police station during the year 2023.
The convict Zahid Mehmood was arrested under section 9-C CNSA, 1997 after recovery of hashish from his possession. During the proceedings, the public prosecutor for the state argued that the accused was caught red-handed while selling the contraband and the evidence on record fully connected him with the commission of the offence.
