Two dacoits on Monday shot injured a man over resistance near Jinnah Cricket Stadium, police said. According to police, two unidentified armed dacoits intercepted Javed (36) bear Jinnah Cricket Stadium. They shot injured him over resistance.
They managed to flee away from the scene. Rescue 1122 rushed to spot and brought the injured to nearby hospital. Police have registered a case and started investigations.
Meanwhile Police also claimed to have arrested eight accused who involved in gambling while playing cards in the jurisdictions of Sadr Police Station.
According to police, a police team, on a tip off, raided at the village of Chirind and managed to arrest Rehmat, Amjad, Sarfraz, Zulifqar, Zeeshan, Jawad, Saeed and Usman who were gambling while playing cards. Police have recovered Rs. 20, 000 stake money, cell phones from their possessions. Police have registered the case against them and started investigations.
