Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) Wednesday forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country during next 24 hours. Continental air prevailing over most parts of the country whereas fog likely situation to persist in plain areas of Punjab and upper Sindh, a MET office reported. Very cold weather expected in Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan, upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and north Balochistan, while cold and dry in other parts of the country.
Minimum temperature’s recorded in (°C): Leh -13°C, Skardu -12°C, Gupis -11°C, Astore -10°C, Anantnag -09°C, Bagrote -07°C, Hunza, Kalam and Gilgit -05°C.
The local Met Office has forecast dry and very cold weather for city for next 24 hours. The highest maximum temperature 20 centigrade and the lowest minimum 07 centigrade were recorded during last 24 hours.
The dry and very cold weather have also been forecast for rest of the region. The local Met office has forecast cold and dry weather with chances of shallow fog in the morning for city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours. On Wednesday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 23.1 degree centigrade and 4.3 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 93 per cent at 8 am and 33 per cent at 5 pm.
The sun will rise at 07:08 am and set at 17:42 pm tomorrow. The Meteorological department on Wednesday predicted cold and dry weather in the metropolis over the next 24 hours.—APP
