Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Information and Spokesperson Government of the Punjab Hasaan Khawar has said that even if the government answers all the questions of the Opposition, our words will fall on deaf ears because Opposition’s differences with the government is that of the narrative and ideology.
PML-N is unable to believe that there is a party in the government whose CM doesn’t have five camp offices, which has reduced the expenses of the CM’s office and which has, with full honesty and transparency, used public exchequer for the welfare of the people.
He said that the basic governance model of PML-N, based on loot and plunder, was in dire conflict with the pro-people administrative model of PTI.
Spokesperson Government of the Punjab added that the government will provide whatever information the Opposition needed. The Right to Information Act is the lifeblood of good governance; Opposition should not try politicizing its sanctity. These views were expressed by Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Hasaan Khawar while talking to media during a seminar on Right to Information Act in Al-Hamra.
Chief Information Commissioner Punjab Mehboob Qadir Shah was also present on the occasion. Hasaan Khawar said that the politics of PML-N revolves around a golden triangle, with Jaati Umra, Model Town and London being the three facets of it. But in the middle of this triangle, Kot Lakhpat Jail also falls. He said that Sharif family is just like a fair weather friend: they will never return to the country for the people, but Government will bring them back in any case.
He further said that the three-page script of PML-N starts from Maryam Nawaz’s statement, includes waiting for a deal, audio / video leaks from “Ittefaq Foundry” and ends with defamation of the opponents of PMLN.
Replying to a question about the arrival of Bilawal Bhutto in Lahore, he said that after demeaning the status of Karachi from being the bride to backyard of Pakistan, Bilawal wanted to spread political pollution in the atmosphere of Lahore. He said that the slogan of PPP has reached bank accounts from Roti, Kapra and Makaan which has gradually deteriorated the living conditions for the people of Sindh.
