CDA Dogs Rescue or Theft? Islamabad Shelter Controversy divides internet

60 Dogs Forcibly Taken From Cda Dog Center In Islamabad

ISLAMABAD – At least seven individuals, including a woman, reportedly broke into the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Dog Center in Tralai, Islamabad, and made off with 60 dogs.

The daring move was reported by a security guard, prompting Islamabad police to lodge a case under charges of theft and interference with government operations. Authorities revealed that the suspects arrived in three vehicles, stormed the shed housing the dogs, and damaged the property during the operation.

To everyone’s surprise, the Islamabad Magistrate was present at the site when the incident unfolded, yet the theft proceeded without interruption.

Cops vowed to take strict legal action to ensure the perpetrators face full consequences for their actions. The incident has ignited widespread concern over the security of animal shelters.

Other side of the story

As the shocking story stunned everyone, some internet users claimed that the four legged carnivores were taken by animal welfare activists. They said malnourished dogs were rescued from horrific conditions.

CDA official reportedly helped facilitate rescue, raising questions about validity of the case. Despite their good intentions, the activists remain in judicial custody, while the rescued dogs have been returned to the neglect-ridden shelter.
