LAHORE – Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) shared major update as cars without green sticker will be banned in the province after 15th November 2025.
DG Environment declared that exhaust testing is now mandatory for every vehicle in Lahore as authorities launched a zero-tolerance crackdown against vehicles that violate environmental standards.
According to Dr. Sheikh, any vehicle seen on Lahore roads without an ETS certificate or green sticker after November 15 will be seized on spot. Only vehicles that fully comply with Punjab’s environmental regulations will be allowed to operate.
He warned citizens that emissions and noise tests are no longer optional. Vehicles failing ETS verification will face legal action and confiscation.
EPA Punjab started its toughest anti-pollution campaign, starting with Lahore, and citizens must immediately get their vehicles tested or risk having them taken off the roads.
This unprecedented crackdown isa a historic step in Punjab’s fight against air pollution, sending a clear message: no polluting vehicle will be spared.
