Punjab caretaker cabinet on Saturday granted approval to upgradation of seven major hospitals in the province.
Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi chaired the meeting of Punjab Cabinet held in Lahore which gave approval of the upgradation.
The provincial cabinet also decided to improve treatment and other facilities in these hospitals and approved five billion rupees for this purpose.
The meeting further decided to improve treatment facilities for children.
In the first phase, treatment facilities will be improved in Children Hospital Lahore and Child Health Multan.
