ISLAMABAD – The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) has announced a new initiative to streamline the payment of financial aid to registered women by providing them with free Digital Wallets and SIM cards.

The initiative, which is part of BISP’s ongoing efforts to enhance financial inclusion and improve access to government services, is now open for eligible women across Pakistan.

How to Obtain Free BISP SIM, Wallets

Women who are already registered with BISP are invited to visit BISP offices or designated camp sites along with their CNIC and the mobile phone they are using.

After biometric verification, a free SIM will be provided to the beneficiary who will use it open their Social Protection Wallet.

The initiative has been launched as part of the government’s Digital Pakistan vision, which seeks to provide seamless access to financial services and benefits through digital platforms.

BISP Alert About Free SIM, Wallets

BISP has clarified that the SIM cards and Digital Wallets will be provided free of charge. It has urged beneficiaries to avoid paying any money to individuals or intermediaries, as this service is completely free.

Improved Access to Social Services

The new Digital Wallets are designed to allow women to receive direct financial support from the government, access welfare benefits, and participate in other digital services provided by BISP. This step is aimed at increasing transparency, reducing the need for physical cash handling, and providing more secure and efficient methods for women to access their financial entitlements.

BISP January 2026 Installment

The BISP beneficiaries will start sending first installment of financial support of 2026 to the beneficiaries in January.

The registered women will receive messages about reimbursement of payments on their mobile phones.
