ABBOTTABAD – The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Abbottabad on Tuesday announced the results of the class 9th first annual examinations 2026.
The board has issued the PDF result gazette showing an overall pass percentage standing at 64.45 percent.
A total of 72,367 students appeared in the examination, out of which 46,219 students successfully passed. The board recorded 649 students as absent.
The group-wise results showed that regular male students in the Science group achieved the highest pass percentage among different categories, with 24,962 out of 35,427 candidates passing, reflecting a success rate of 71.05 percent.
Among regular female students, 13,400 out of 19,481 Science group candidates passed, with a pass percentage of 69.15 percent. In the Arts group, regular male students recorded a pass percentage of 51.24 percent, while regular female students achieved a pass percentage of 43.23 percent.
The results further showed that private candidates also participated in the examination. Private female students in the Arts group recorded a pass percentage of 45.87 percent, while private male students in the Arts group achieved a pass percentage of 45.38 percent.
In terms of overall performance by candidate category, regular male students secured a pass percentage of 69.05 percent, followed by regular female students with 61.04 percent. Private female and male candidates recorded pass percentages of 45.87 percent and 45.38 percent, respectively.
