The Commissioner of Karachi has invoked Section 144 (6) of the Criminal Procedure Code (CrPC) to enforce a complete ban on the movement and transportation of wet soil loaded dumpers within the jurisdiction of Police Station Manghopir. This ban, effective for two months, aims to address specific concerns within the area. The Station House Officers (SHOs) of the relevant police stations have been empowered to register complaints under Section 188 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) against violators of Section 144 CrPC.
