Asad briefs Governor on Centre-funded projects



A high level meeting was held at the Governor House under the chairmanship of Sindh Governor Imran Ismail on Saturday.

Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar participated in the meeting through video link.

The meeting was attended by Federal Ministers Ali Zaidi, Muhammad MianSoomro, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Arbab Ghulam Rahim, Member National Assembly J Prakash, Member Provincial Assembly Khurram Sher Zaman and Adviser to Governor Sindh Omid Ali Junejo.

Asad Umar gave a detailed briefing to the Governor of Sindh on the ongoing development projects in the province with federal funding, performance of SIDCL and other important issues.

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar said that the federation would extend all possible cooperation for all development projects under SIDCL. And funding.

On this occasion, the Governor Sindh Imran Ismail directed that all possible steps should be taken to complete the ongoing development projects with federal funding on time as the Prime Minister has given clear instructions that all members of the Assembly should monitor the ongoing development projects themselves.

Development projects funded by the federal government will be important for the convenience of the people.
