In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir Freedom Front (KFF), a constituent of All Parties Hurriyat Conference, has strongly con-demned the arrest and killing spree unleashed by Indian troops and police across the territory.

According to Kashmir Media Service, the KFF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said killings, torture and arrests have failed to suppress the freedom sentiments of the Kashmiris who have rendered unparallel sacrifices for the Kashmir cause

He said the Kashmiri people will continue their peaceful struggle till it reached its logical conclu-sion.

The spokesman urged India to shun its stubborn approach and resolve the Kashmir dispute for ensur-ing permanent peace in the region.

He deplored the silence of the world community on the atrocities being committed by Indian forces’ personnel against the innocent and unarmed people of IIOJK. He ap-pealed to the world to impress upon India to take steps for the settlement of the Kashmir dispute in accordance with the Kashmiris’ aspirations.

The spokesman called upon the world human rights organisations including the UN Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and International Committee of Red Cross to take cognizance of the plight of the ille-gally detained Kashmiris and play role in their re-lease.—KMS
