‘APHC represents collective feelings, struggles & sufferings of oppressed Kashmiris’


A prominent social worker Muhammad Ismail Shad, today, met the All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter leaders in Islamabad.

Muhammad Ismail Shad on the occasion said APHC represents the collective feelings, struggles, sufferings and sacrifices of the suppressed and oppressed people of Kashmir and has a high position among the common people.

He said that the people of Pakistan would continue to play their role at all fronts to highlight the Kashmiris’ struggle for achieving their right to self-determination.

The APHC-AJK Convener, Mehmood Ahmed Saghar on this occasion said Muhammad Ismail Shad has done excellent services to the freedom movement of Kashmir, for which ‘we are also grateful to him and pay tribute to his services’.

Today, a prayer meeting was held under the chairmanship of convener Mahmood Ahmed Sagar, in which prayers were prayed for the mother of Hurriyat Qazi Imran.

Meanwhile, a prayers session was held in Islamabad under the chairmanship of Convener Mehmood Ahmed Saghar in which the Hurriyat leaders expressed grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the mother of APHC-AJK leader Qazi Imran.

They also condoled the death of Waseem Farooq, son of Shaheed Mohammad Farooq of Jammu and Kashmir People’s League, and expressed sympathy with the bereaved family.—KMS
