People of Peshawar came out on the streets against the heavy load shedding of electricity and blocked the motorway for traffic on Tuesday morning.
Due to the sit-in of the protesters in a big number the Motorway M1 from Peshawar Toll Plaza to Charsadda Interchange was closed to all traffic.
The people of Akbarpur and Badhai areas protested against load shedding and blocked Motorway M1 from Peshawar Toll Plaza.
Peshawar Motorway Police and district administration officers reached the spot and started negotiations with the locals to end their protest.
