International gold Price
The recovery in Pakistan’s gold market came alongside a modest improvement in international bullion prices.
Internationally, spot gold was trading close to $4,123 an ounce after touching a two-month low in the previous session. A firmer US dollar and higher Treasury yields had weighed on the metal, while investors continued to assess the US Federal Reserve’s interest-rate outlook.
Silver prices moved lower in Pakistan despite the rise in gold. The price of silver declined by Rs120 per tola to Rs6,368 on Thursday. This followed a Rs100-per-tola fall in the previous session.

*Figures as provided in the supplied market data.
Gold entered October at elevated levels but has since come under pressure. The supplied data puts the 24K gold rate at Rs435,100 per tola on October 8, compared with a monthly high of Rs441,000.
Recent daily market records also show considerable movement: gold was at Rs441,000 on October 2 before falling to Rs437,000 on October 3 and then declining further over the following sessions.
Investors are also closely watching the US Federal Reserve’s interest-rate policy. Minutes from the Fed’s September meeting showed policymakers divided over the need for further rate increases, adding another layer of uncertainty to the outlook for bullion.
Gold Price slides to Rs4.34 Lac Per Tola in Pakistan amid Global dip
Despite these pressures, geopolitical risks and continued central-bank demand have helped prevent a deeper decline in gold.
Despite the recent correction, gold remains substantially more expensive than it was at the beginning of the year. The market’s trajectory, from an average of Rs421,444 per tola in January to a monthly average above Rs456,000 in August, shows the scale of the price increase seen during 2026.
