Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Thursday made telephone calls to President PML-N Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Central Vice President of the party Maryam Nawaz Sharif. The Prime Minister inquired the health of both Sharif brothers and discussed with them the latest situation of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir and other matters of mutual interest.
He also told both the leaders about the PML-N state government’s efforts to curb the coronavirus pandemic in the region and said that all out efforts are being made to minimize the sufferings of the common man. The Prime Minister said that PML-N government not only doubled the development budget of the state but also resolve the longstanding issues of the liberated area.
Speaking on the occasion, both Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz strongly condemned the Indian atrocities on unarmed innocent Kashmiris and expressed completed solidarity with them. They also appreciated the effective measures taken by the PML-N AJK government to curtail the coronavirus in the region.
