Gold Prices Jump By Rs3000 Per Tola In Pakistan

KARACHI – The gold prices in Pakistan registered a sharp increase on Friday, mirroring gains in the international bullion market.

All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association said that the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs3,000 per tola, taking the new rate to Rs430,436 per tola across the country.

The increase comes as global gold prices continue to climb amid strong investor demand and market uncertainty.

Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs2,572, reaching Rs369,029.

The latest rise has added to the cost of purchasing gold for consumers, investors and jewellers, while reflecting the continued volatility in precious metal markets.

In the international market, gold gained $30 per ounce, pushing the global bullion price to $4,080 per ounce. The increase in global prices is one of the key factors influencing Pakistan’s domestic gold rates, which are adjusted in line with international market trends and the exchange rate.

The gold prices in Pakistan fluctuate on a daily basis depending on movements in the global bullion market and changes in the value of the Pakistani rupee against the US dollar.

The dealers closely monitor these factors before revising local rates.
