Gold Starts Week With Rs600 Per Tola Drop In Pakistan Check New Rates

KARACHI – The upward momentum in Pakistan’s gold market proved short-lived as prices reversed course amid fresh losses in international bullion market. After a slight recovery a day earlier, 24-karat gold slipped to Rs4.21 Lac per tola.

On Friday, the price of 24-karat gold settled at Rs421,836 per tola, down from Rs425,436 a day earlier. Likewise, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs3,086, reaching Rs361,656.

New Gold Prices

Commodity New Price
Gold (24K Per Tola) Rs421,836
Gold (24K per 10 Grams) Rs361,656
Silver (Per Tola) Rs6,029
International Gold (Per Ounce) $3,994*

The domestic decline mirrored losses in the international bullion market, where gold prices dropped by $36 per ounce to $3,994, a rate that includes a $20 premium. Pakistan’s gold market typically tracks global price movements, with exchange rate fluctuations also playing a role in determining local prices.

Silver prices also moved lower during the session. The price of silver declined by Rs126 per tola, bringing the domestic rate down to Rs6,029 from Rs6,155.

Market analysts say the latest movement highlights the continued volatility in precious metals markets, with international bullion trends remaining the primary driver of domestic gold and silver prices. Investors and traders are expected to keep a close watch on global market developments, as any further changes in international prices could directly influence local bullion rates in the coming sessions.
