KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend on Friday, with the price of the precious metal reaching a fresh high in the local bullion market.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs564 to Rs426,000, compared to the previous closing rate of Rs425,436. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold rose by Rs488, settling at Rs365,230.

The latest increase follows Thursday’s trading session, when gold prices gained Rs400 per tola to settle at Rs425,436 in the domestic market.
Unlike the local market, international bullion prices witnessed a decline. The global price of gold fell by $43 per ounce, with the precious metal trading at $3,987 per ounce.
Market analysts said local gold prices remained firm despite the drop in international rates, reflecting currency movements and sustained demand in the domestic bullion market.
Meanwhile, the prices of 22-karat and 21-karat gold were recorded at Rs390,604 and Rs372,850 per tola, respectively.
