Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani has clarified that the first phase of the Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto Expressway, inaugurated by PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, is fully operational, despite misleading reports circulating on social and mainstream media. Addressing the Sindh Assembly on Tuesday, Ghani stated that the expressway provides seamless road connectivity from Qayyumabad to Shah Faisal Colony, with the second phase, linking Quaidabad interchange, expected by March, and the final phase, connecting to the M-9 motorway, scheduled for completion by December. Ghani criticized “certain elements” for sharing incorrect information about the project, including video clips depicting incomplete sections under construction.

Sindh Local Government Minister Saeed Ghani urged detractors to avoid spreading misinformation about infrastructure projects designed to benefit Karachi’s residents.
