PARIS – Imane Khelif, Paris Olympics medalist, has been confirmed man in leaked medical report, the International media reported on Wednesday.

The controversial boxer from Algeria, Imane Khelif, has had a medical report leaked by a media outlet, in which the 25-year-old boxer is labeled as male. This leaked report has also gone viral on social media.

Following this report, users are calling for her Olympic gold medal to be revoked.

Some media outlets and experts disagree with the leaked report and do not consider it accurate.

According to foreign media, the leaked medical report of Imane Khelif includes medical references indicating the athlete’s biological status as male.

At the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, Iman Khelif won the gold medal as a female and made headlines due to her physique throughout the event.

In the women’s boxing event, Italy’s Angela Cerni refused to fight Algeria’s Iman Khelif only 46 seconds into the first round, stating that she had never received such a dangerous punch in any fight before.

Italian boxer Angela Cerni further stated that her Algerian opponent did not meet the standards expected of a female boxer, and matching her with a female competitor would be unfair.
