Opposition Leader of Sindh Assembly, Ali Khurshidi, has strongly condemned the recent blast targeting a convoy of foreign nationals near Karachi Airport. Expressing deep sorrow over the loss of lives in the tragic incident, Khurshidi extended prayers for the swift recovery of those injured. He urged the Sindh government to provide all necessary medical assistance to the victims, ensuring they receive the best possible care.
Khurshidi emphasized the importance of maintaining Pakistan’s peace and stability, calling for strict action against those attempting to sabotage the country’s security and disrupt the long-standing friendship between Pakistan and China.
“The elements involved in this heinous act, aimed at undermining Pak-China relations and harming the nation’s peace, must be dealt with firmly,” he stated. He further noted that foreign nationals are honored guests of Pakistan, and their protection and respect are a national responsibility. “The relations between Pakistan and China are of great importance, and the enemies of both nations want to strain these ties,” Khurshidi remarked. Khurshidi also praised the unwavering commitment of Pakistan’s security forces, including the army, Sindh Rangers, and police, in their fight against terrorism. He assured the public that all institutions remain dedicated to eradicating terrorism and protecting the country.
