DrFowzia briefs DrZakirNaik on ordeal of Aafia

Global Aafia Movement Chairperson DrFowzia Siddiqui called on the global Islamic preacher DrZakirNaik here at the Governor House and briefed him on the ordeal of DrAafiaSiddiqui.The meeting continued for more than 45 minutes. DrFowzia welcomes DrNaik on his visit to Pakistan and praised his global preaching services. She said DrNaik is presenting the true face of Islam before the world.

DrFowzia briefed him about the details of the atrocities DrAafia has been enduring for last two decades. She said 21 years ago DrAafia was kidnapped along with her three minor children. Her two children were later freed but the third child, youngest of them who was just six months old at that time is still missing and nobody knows if he is dead or alive.DrNaik listened to this ordeal with wet eyes. DrFowzia requested him for special prayers for early release of Aafia.

She also presented him a religious Fatwa or decree of the teacher of JamiaUmulQurra of Mecca, Abu Muhammad Abdullah Alhijazi, saying if any Muslim woman is in custody of non-Muslims it is the responsibility of all Muslim people and countries to work for her release. She told him that DrAafia Siddiqui was also a preacher. On the occasion, a video made in the US about the respect of women and human rights in Islam.
