ISLAMABAD – Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s jet remained in Pakistani airspace for over 40 minutes as he returned from Europe.
Modi, who continues to fire salvos at Pakistan in his speeches, was in Poland and Ukraine for three days, to improve ties with President Zelensky amid the war.

Pakistani media quoting Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said Narendra Modi’s aircraft entered Pakistani airspace at quarter past 10 and exited around 11, crossing over Lahore before entering Indian territory.
The special flight of Indian premier also flies over Chitral and then passed through the air control zones of Islamabad and Lahore. It then entered Amritsar before moving to capital.
This is not the first time when Modi used Pakistani airspace, as he was in over Pakistani skies on return from G20 Summit. His jet entered Pakistani airspace with formal permission from Islamabad, and other cities before continuing to Italy via Iran and Turkey.
Pakistan closed its airspace to India amid escalating tensions between the two sides. This closure has led to significant disruptions, with flights being rerouted, causing delays and increased costs for airlines, particularly Indian carriers.
The situation forced Air India to suspend some routes, such as the Delhi-Birmingham flight, and has generally impacted Indian airlines more severely than their Pakistani counterparts, reports said.
