At least four Pakistanis have been killed in a rare terror attack on a Shiite mosque in Muscat, while dozens are injured.
A statement shared by the foreign office said. Another thirty Pakistanis are under treatment in hospitals, as the attack sent a shockwave in Muslim world.
The mosque attack occurred Imambargah during Ashura procession. Royal Oman Police responded to shooting near mosque in the Al-Wadi Al-Kabir area” of the capital.

Pakistan’s Foreign Office also confirmed deaths of four Pakistanis and claimed that Omani authorities gunned down attackers.
Four Pakistanis were also martyred by gunfire in heinous terrorist attack on the Ali bin Abi Talib mosque. Over two dozen Pakistanis are being treated. Pakistani envoy reportedly visited injured in hospital, as reported by the embassy on social site.
