Toyota to cut car prices in Pakistan to boost sales?

KARACHI – Several auto giants in Pakistan, including Kia, Suzuki, Peugeot are pushing it harder to deal with slow car market, lowering prices of their famous units.

As Suzuki and other companies lowered prices, people are looking at Toyota and Honda, the two Japanese autogiants, known for their famous models.

Sources familiar with development revealed that Toyota has decided to stay out of the market competition started by KIA and Suzuki.

Toyota Car Rates in Pakistan

Indus Motor Company, the maker of Toyota cars, revealed that it will not be lowering price changes to boost sales. The company responded after getting queries regarding price adjustments from various market players.

The company remains optimistic to pass on brether to customers, including adjusting the pricing of its entire product line.

Honda Car Rates in Pakistan

Honda Atlas Cars Ltd (HACL) also responded after being approached by numerous dealers and customers regarding recent price adjustments in the market. After considering these inquiries, Honda decided to maintain its current prices.

The company earlier Honda City 1.2L grades. However, it has decided not to decrease prices further at this time, citing no change in foreign exchange rates and material costs.
