Criminal gang smashed

Muradpur police arrested 4 members of a thief gang along with its ringleader and recovered stolen goods worth Rs8 million. Police said that the Rafiq gang alias “Fika thief gang” was involved in stealing leather gloves and jackets worth Rs8 million from a factory on Marala Road few days ago. Police have recovered Rs. 5,00,000, leather gloves and jackets.

The arrested accused have been identified as Rafique alias Fika, Jawad-ul-Hassan, Abdul Ghaffar and Muqadas. Seven motorcycles have also been seized, the SHO added.
