On the direction of Commissioner Mardan Division Yousaf Rahim, the Tehsil level competitions of Maths Quiz will be held on September 11 from the platform of Reading Club among the students of eighth, ninth and tenth standard. Both male and female students are eligible for registration.
According to details, these competitions will be held at the tehsil level in the first phase, for which registration can be done in the offices of the assistant commissioners of the respective tehsils till September 10.
In the first phase, centers for organizing these competitions have been designated in different tehsils of Mardan district. Government Post Graduate College Mardan for Tehsil Mardan, Government Higher Secondary School Takker for Tehsil Takht Bai, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Katlang for Tehsil Katling, Government Primary School Hirawand Rustam for Tehsil Rustam and Government Commerce College Shehbaz Garhi for Tehsil Garhi Kapura have been designated.
The top 10 students from each tehsil will participate in district level competitions, the date and venue of which will be announced later. It merits a mention that various activities including the promotion of book reading among students are being organized by the club in Mardan.
