Punjab govt is spending Rs 300 billion for the development of agriculture sector to bring a green revolution. Chairman Public Accounts Committee Punjab Syed Yawar Abbas Bokhari said this while addressing a seminar arranged by Agriculture Department. On the occassion DC Attock Ali Anan Qamar, personnel of agri department, farmers and large number of people were present.
Chairman Public Accounts Committee Syed Yawar Bokhari said that ours is agriculture country amd because of this our economy mostly depend on agriculture and for the purpose Punjab govt is taking all possible measures to promote agri sector which will certainly result in development of the country and prosperity of the farmers and people as well.
Bokhari said that with out using modern technology and latest methods we can not compete with the world and emphasised upon the agriculture department officers to play their role in making aware farmers about the latest methods.
