Punjab Advocate General Muhammad Shan Gul has decided to step down from his post citing domestic reasons.

He submitted his resignation to chief minister Mohsin Naqvi, citing personal reasons. He said it was quite challenging for him to continue carrying out his duties. Despite his resignation, Gul will continue to perform his duties until June 26.
