On the instructions of Government of Pakistan and Federal Minister for Energy Power Division, Engineer Khurram Dastgir Khan, IESCO management has made comprehensive arrangements for provision of uninterrupted power supply in the month of Ramadan, especially 1 hour before and 1 hour after Sehar, while 1 hour before and 3 hours after Iftar.
Central Control Room has been established where senior officers and staff will available 24 hours and where Power Continuity, faults of system and its clearness will be monitored on more than 1300 11KV feeders and 116 grid stations.
IESCO Chief Executive Dr. Muhammad Amjad Khan and Operations Director Muhammad Aslam Khan will monitor all activities directly. All field formations have been provided additional transformers, power cables, transformer trolleys, meters and other material to clear any fault or complaint without any delay.
All XENs and SDOs have been warned to make the Complaints Offices more functional and enable prompt redressal of electricity-related complaints of consumers and will also ensure that the telephone numbers of the Complaints Offices are not kept unnecessarily busy.
The Chief Executive has also issued instructions to all operation circle in-charges to make surprise visits of field and complaint offices.
