In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the authorities have issued an avalanche alert in different districts of the territory and asked people to avoid going to higher reaches. Officials said the avalanche alert has been issued for Bandipora, Baramulla, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Ramban, Doda and Kargil districts.
“Avalanche with low danger level is likely to occur above 2500 metres over Bandipora, Baramulla, Kupwara, Ganderbal, Ramban, Doda and Kargil in next 24 hours. —KMS
