APHC-AJK delegation apprises Hurriyat leaders of its UN visit

An extra-ordinary meeting of All Parties Hurriyat Conference Azad Jammu and Kashmir (APHC-AJK) chapter was held in Islamabad, today, with Convener Mahmood Ahmad Saghar in chair.

The APHC-AJK delegation, which represented Kashmir at the 50th session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, was headed by Altaf Hussain Wani. The delegation apprised the Hurriyat leaders of various activities they carried out during their visit to the United Nations.

The APHC AJK Convener, Mahmod Ahmed Saghar, praised Altaf Wani and his team members, Syed Faiz Naqshbandi, Advocate Parvaiz Ahmed, Hassan Al-Bana and Ms Shameem Shawl for projecting the Kashmir dispute at international level.

Meanwhile, the APHC-AJK chapter also held a condolence meeting. The participants condoled the sad demise of the sister of senior APHC leader Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi who passed away in Badgam district of Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

They also expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed to Allah Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the aggrieved family to bear this loss with patience.—KMS
