Provision of basic health facilities top priority: Bukhari

As many as 200 doctors have been inducted for various hospitals and health centers during the last three years while a mother and child hospital is being built at the cost of Rs 6 billion.

Provincial Minister for Social Welfare and Bait ul Maal Syed Yawar Abbas Bukhari said this after inaugurating different facilities at DHQ Hospital Attock which included Paeds Unit, Digital XRay Unit, ETT and Emergency Extention. Medical Superintendant Dr Irfan Raza and other officers were also President.

Provincial Minister said that provision of health facilities to the people was need of the hour and all out efforts are being made in this context. He said, Medical Service Unit will be established in this hospital while a Nursing College will also be built along with mother and child hospital. He said due importance is being given to Education sector and so for 141 schools have been upgraded.
