A fire erupted at a shop in Soldier Bazaar in Karachi in Sunday morning, The firefighters rushed to the scene and extinguished the blaze and the cooling process was underway till the filing of this report.
This is for the first time in Karachi that seven fire incidents happened in a row within 10 days, which may be a conspiracy. There is need to investigate these issues.
On Saturday, two fire incidents created panic in Pakistan’s mega city Karachi. Dozens of huts caught fire near Teen Hatti Bridge in the city.
Three fire tenders, rescue teams and contingents of law enforcement agencies rushed to the scene and extinguished the fire.
Separately, a blaze broke out in petrol tanker in Saddar’s parking plaza.
The rescue teams were extinguishing the fire till filing of this story. Both sides of the road have been blocked for the operation.
The city has witnessed sixth fire incidents in just a week. The authorities look crippled as there is no control on such incidents.
On Wednesday, a fire engulfed a multi-storey building of the Queen Victoria Shopping Centre near Zainab Market.
Millions of rupees worth of garments, cloth and other articles were burnt to ashes as a result of a blaze which erupted on the fifth floor of Victoria Shopping Centre on Abdullah Haroon Road in Saddar area.
