The Ambassador of Pakistan to Sweden and Finland, Dr. Zahoor Ahmed had an audience with His Majesty King Carl XVI Gustaf on Friday. The discussion covered bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest.
The Ambassador said that Pakistan valued its relations with Sweden and would like to further develop ties in various areas including higher education, vocational training, information technology, renewable energy, trade & investment, tourism and environmental friendly ventures.
He also briefed His Majesty on the environment friendly policies initiated by the present Government, progressive status of gender equality, efforts for interfaith harmony made by Pakistan.
His Majesty appreciated the role of Pakistan in the evacuation efforts of Swedish personnel from Kabul.
