PM Imran kicks off Pakistan Property, Housing & Construction Expo 2021

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Imran Khan on Friday launched Pakistan Property, Housing, and Construction Expo 2021 in Islamabad.

Addressing the opening ceremony, the premier stressed on a need of using locally available raw material in the construction sector to strengthened industries linked with the construction sector.

PM Imran assured that the government will provide every possible support to the manufacturing sector to use locally available raw material.

More incentives are being extended to the construction sector, he said, adding that reforms are being introduced in the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR).

The premier highlighted that providing jobs to youth will strengthen the country and construction sector has great potential of job creation.

He lamented that export sector of the country was neglected in the past governments, adding that the PTI government aimed at lifting the exports to $30 billion.

PM Imran urged the business community to support the government by giving taxes.

The three-day expo that will continue till Sunday is aimed at providing investment opportunities for construction sector.
