Staff Report Badin
The inoperative and unproductive water filter plants and Reverse Osmosis water filtration plants installed across Badin district were creating hurdles for citizens and villagers to quench their thirst with pure and clean water to prevent various diseases.
In Badin district mostly filter and RO plants were seen feckless and impracticable installed in Tando Bago, Talhar, Matli, Golarchi, coastal belt and different villages of the district.
The installed 90 Reverse Osmosis water filtration plants and 41 filter plants including of 34 in Badin were fruitless.
The filter plants in kachhi mohalla, Cantt road, DC chowk, Seerani road, Bilawal Park, old Civil hospital, water supply while RO plants in Sheikh Kirio Bhandari, Behdmi, Ahmed Rajo and others were non beneficial to citizens and villagers.
