Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Muhammad Khan has said in line with government policies private sector was playing a significant role in promoting education.
This he stated while speaking at the MBA launching ceremony organized by Universal College in collaboration with Monroe College, New York.
It is to be noted that Universal College of Islamabad (UCI) is engaged in promoting high level foreign education in the Federal Capital since for the last 3 decades on very cheap rates and produced thousands students who got top positions not only in Pakistan but also in more than 150 countries of the world.
Ali Muhammad Khan stated that Islam is a religion of enlightenment and it places a great importance on education.
Education is the foundation of development and prosperity and the passport to a better future, he added.
He said that Universal College is one of the best colleges for studying the University of London LLB due to Dr. Catalina dedication and hard work and that her dedication would also be extended to this MBA program.
He was very confident of faculty and student friendly environment of UCI would be great attraction for students.
Speaking at this occasion Dr.Maria Catalina Alliende Principal of UCI stated that UCI is a pioneer partner organization of Monroe College in Pakistan and they have developed an excellent two years MBA programme.
Zeeshan Riaz, Regional Head of Monroe also addressed the ceremony and he conveyed that Monroe College was founded in 1933, and has been a leader in higher education access, affordability and attainment.
They are keen to have student from Pakistan and help them in achieving excellence in their studies.
