OPC to join provincial Ombudsman efforts to facilitate overseas Pakistanis

Overseas Pakistanis Commission (OPC) and provincial Ombudsman has collaborated to facilitate and get the problems of overseas Pakistanis redressed in efficient manner.

The matters related to how OPC and provincial Ombudsman can cooperate with each other were discussed at length in the meeting at OPC chaired by Commissioner Overseas Pakistanis Commission Syed Khadim Abbas.

The meeting was attended by Director General Overseas Pakistanis Commission Ishrat ullah Khan Niazi, Mian Mohsin Rasheed (Consultant CPCC), Samiullah (FnP), Luqman Cheema (Incharge CMIS) and directors of OPC.

Participants gave a detailed overview of the mechanism of resolving complaints at provincial Ombudsman.

While addressing the meeting, Commissioner OPC said that we are committed to resolve the problems of overseas Pakistanis as per the vision of Prime Minister Pakistan Imran Khan.

He said, “Overseas Pakistanis are playing a pivotal role in strengthening the economy of this country so we must do everything we can to facilitate them.
