A 15-year-old girl was raped in Gujranwala. She died despite treatment due to her critical condition.
The teenager was brought to the hospital by the rapist and his friend. They ran away after dropping her at the hospital.
The men confessed to the crime after being caught by the police. Their case was registered at Sadar Police Station in Wazirabad.
Meanwhile, a man killed his month-old baby daughter in Haveli Bahadur Shah, Shorkot, during a quarrel with his wife.
The man identified as Imran Nami, ran away after killing the newly-born baby girl, said his mother-in-law.
The crime happened when Imran went to his in-laws’ house to reconcile with his wife. He picked up the baby and threw her to the ground when he could not handle the argument. The baby died instantly. Her body was sent for a post-mortem.
