Says Imran Khan fighting against corrupt mafia for people of Pakistan

Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan has said that Shehbaz Sharif who submitted undertaking on Rs50 stamp paper for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Pakistan following his treatment abroad instead of facilitating Nawaz Sharif’s return to the country himself tried to escape the country in the dark of the night.
When the law took its course and barred him from flying to London, the PML-N cabal of cronies started making hue and cry and attacked the FIA office.
Talking to media at Governor House here on Sunday, Dr Firdous questioned why the PML-N leadership wanted to rule here in Pakistan when its kith and kin live abroad, run businesses abroad, and have properties abroad? The PML-N leadership is befooling the innocent citizens of Pakistan as it doesn’t have any love and affection for them, she said.
The Special Assistant said that Pakistan is on the red list because of corona and ordinary Pakistanis cannot enter England but the accused and criminals were thinking of celebrating Eid in London.
She said that Prime Minister Imran Khan is striving hard to bring the strong and the weak equally before the law as no one is above the law.
In the past, the powerful mafia always took benefit from the flaws in the system but now the PTI government stands firm against such elements and they will not succeed in their nefarious intentions.
Dr Firdous said that Prime Minister Imran Khan has fulfilled the promise made to the overseas Pakistanis as President Arif Alvi has implemented an amendment in the Election Ordinance 2021 which permits voting rights to overseas Pakistanis.
She said that remittances from Pakistanis working abroad are a vital source of foreign exchange for the country and play an important role to keep the wheel of the economy moving.
The SACM said the voting process will be carried out by using electronic voting machines.
The amendment demands the Election Commission of Pakistan to purchase electronic voting machines well in time, before the general elections for smooth running of the overseas voting process, she further said.
While paying tribute to all the mothers on the occasion of World Mother’s Day, Dr Firdous said there is no substitute for a mother’s love.
The love and affection for the mother is a universal emotion/sentiment that cannot be linked with some specific day, she said. She said that mothers have to play a role of vital importance as they are the builders of the fate of their nation.
They must teach and train their children in such a manner to make them a useful and productive citizen, she added.
Keeping in view continuing increase in COVID-19 spread, Dr Firdous said that there is a complete ban on all kinds of gatherings.
She urged people not to hug and kiss each other as traditionally practiced on the occasion of Eid and maintain social distancing to protect themselves and lives of other people.
Responding to a question, the SACM said that Imran Khan has neither any property dispute nor any other issue with Shehbaz Sharif.

The Special Assistant said that Shehbaz Sharif took benefit of his age and ailment and has been granted bail but the bail does not mean that he is innocent. At first, the accused escaped and not the guarantor is also running away.
If ordinary people can serve sentences in jail then why can’t the Sharif brothers? The rule of law should be applied equally to all and the government is ensuring it.
