LASBELA – More than ten people were injured in an explosion at a football ground in an area of Hub, located in the Lasbela District of Balochistan.
The blast, according to authorities, occurred during a match of a tournament held to pay tribute to police martyrs in Allahabad neighbourhood.
The injured persons were shifted to Jam Ghulam Qadir Hospital where two of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.
Security forces cordoned off the area while the bomb disposal squad also reached the place to check if any other explosive device has been planted in the ground.
The police said an initial probe says a remote-controlled device was used to detonate the explosive material in the sitting area.
