District Police Officer Asad Hassan Alvi said that the first duty of the police is to protect the lives, property and honor of the citizens, An open door policy has been adopted for all officers including DPO office and SHOs are required to be present at the specified times for the citizens.
He expressed these views while addressing a luncheon hosted by Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry President Qaiser Iqbal Baryar, Senior Vice President Khurram Aslam Butt, Vice President Ansar Puri and other members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry were present on the occasion.
DPO Asad Hassan Alvi said that the police force in Sialkot district is less, the police force in Sialkot is 2500 while Gujarat which has a population less than 1.6 million is 4500.
He said further that a special counter for driving license should be set up in Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
